MDCC has developed a face shield in response to the general need for personal protection equipment. During the initial R&D phase of this product, our company was donating the visors to medical facilities that were under supplied and needed the additional protection of a face shield. We were fortunate enough to donate over 1000 visors to this cause.
Our essential face shield is fully manufactured in Monroe, WA at MDCC's production facility and is now available to the general public. Our new Flex Fit design allows for greater comfort and fit.

Why a face shield?
Face shields offer a different and additional option for the any PPE strategy.
- Having a protective barrier across the entire face makes touching your face less likely than having a mask alone.
- When speaking, a shield provides visibility to facial expressions and lip movements to foster better speech perception.
- Face shields can be cleaned/disinfected over and over.
- Wearing a face shield can be more comfortable than a mask, and can even me worn with a mask for additional layers of protection.
